COMPATIBLE TROLLING MOTORS: Minn Kota Riptide Ulterra 80LBS & 112LBS 72" Motors
This trolling motor mount enables you to fit a trolling motor to your boat without any major rework of the bow. It is designed to be a bolt-on option, without the need to rework the fibreglass bow area or cutting, modifying and welding of the stainless hand rail which can very easily become a major task and become rather expensive.
With this bolt-on cantilever design, it can be installed by anyone who is handy with some basic hand and power tools.
Features
Direct Bolt On No cutting and welding of hand rails or moulding fibreglass required. A good set of spanners or sockets, drill, drill bits and some clamps is all you need.
Structural Designed Trolling motors are heavy, weighing anywhere between 15-30KG depending on the motor. The weight of the motor, combined with the dynamic G forces from being towed on the road or in rough seas or swells, this weight can momentarily multiply by up to 3 times. Our mount is designed to not only carry the weight of the trolling motor, but take a serious punch!
Torque Brace Reinforcement The cantilever design increases the moment (physics, distance) between the gunwhale and the trolling motor, creating a rotational force which could exceed the design limits of the boat and cause damage to the fibreglass, if not reinforced. The included torque brace reinforces the fibreglass by limiting rotational load and distributes it to the anchor well bulkhead which counteracts the load.
Limited Lifetime Warranty Our trolling motor mounts come with a limited lifetime warranty. Any structural faults to the mount such as cracks or non-impact damage (mount bending from the weight of the motor), will be covered under warranty and we will repair or replace the mount. Full warranty terms will be included with the mount.
SL20 & SL22 mounts are both the same, only difference is the torque brace has a slightly different angle. One torque brace may be bent by hand to suit either SL20 or SL22.
