This spray guard designed specifically for Airmar 1KW transom mount transducers. Eliminates the spray caused by the large transducer when the boat is moving at speed. Compatible with all Airmar 1KW transom mounted transducers including TM185 series, TM265 series, TM275 series.
INSTALLATION
Installation is quick and easy and can be done in under 2 minutes, without the need of removing and refitting the transducer cable or any sealants.
Using a 3/16 hex key, remove and discard the 3 bolts that hold the transducer to the plastic transom mount bracket. Hold the transducer, ensuring that it does not fall or pull the cable out of any sealed entry points.
Slide the Spray Guard in between the plastic transom mount bracket and transducer. Visually check that the transducer cable has slotted into the cable opening on the Spray Guard.
Align the bolt holes on the transducer, Spray Guard and plastic transom mount bracket and fasten up with the included bolts, reusing the existing washers.
